Santa Maria

East of Naousa you will see Santa Maria which has particularly developed during the last years. It is only 2 km from Naousa and 12 km from Parikia. The beach, which in fact is divided in two smaller separate beaches, has nice, light colored sand and crystal clear sea. The first is commonly known as Santa Maria Camping and the second is about a kilometer beyond the first and is on the right side of the road.

Santa Maria beach offers a beautiful view of Naxos island. It is well organized with sun beds and umbrellas as well as beach bars.You can relax in the music sound of the beach bars and enjoy this beautiful view. It is an extended golden beach where have the opportunity to learn windsurfing, do many sea sports and diving. If you like snorkeling the sea bed is very good for underwater fishing. A campsite is located behind the beaches and makes it really crowded during the high season of July and August.

Parasporos

South of Parikia and in only 2,5 km distance you will see Parasporos. It is a long and wide sandy beach with crystal waters surrounded by tamarisk trees. The beach is pretty popular in the younger visitors of the island. It is well organized with sun beds and umbrellas as well as beach bars. A couple of beach bars are available on the beach and organise a few parties during summer time, where people enjoy themselves with dance and music.The music from the beach bars stimulates people who combine swimming with entertainment.

Access to the beach is very easy by taxi, car, motorbike or by bus.The bus will drop you at the public road and there you will follow the street leading to the beach. Accommodation facilities are available in the area and there are several alternatives for good food.

Marcello

The beach of Marcello is situated at a distance of 2,5 km northern to the Parikia. Krios and Marcello are part of a single beach and are extended up to the northern part of Parikia Bay, the Agios Fokas cape.It is a long sandy beach, with fine white sand and crystal clear sea.

Marcello due to its geographical position is well protected from the northern winds. It is a lovely beach with a nice view of the town and attracts many people. It is well organized with sun beds and umbrellas as well as beach bars.

Access to the beach is very easy by taxi, car or motorbike. Moreover, you can catch one of the excursion boats departing daily from Parikia and stop at Marcello. Accommodation is available in the town of Paros and in the area around, where you will find many hotels and lodgings.

Lolantonis

As you go south to Agairia, turn left once you see the sign to Lolantonis. It is also after Drios and closer to Aspro Horio. After a few drive in dirt road, you will see a small paradise. It is a beautiful bay with sand and pebbles. You can relax under a natural shadow of the deep green trees which rise where the road ends, before you dive in the blue green waters of the lovely beach.

Lolantonis beach was named after the homonymous famous tavern that is located at the top of the road. It is not organized and is good for families. The beach of Lolantonis can be reached by taxi, car or motorbike. There is also a great tavern for lunches and dinners above the beach.

Livadia

In the north of Parikia, in Livadia location, you will find this beach with complete tourism infrastructure and clean waters. Livadia is situated in the town of Paros about 1 km from the port. Kolibithres

In the west side of Naousa’s cove, is located the beach Kolybithres. It is found at a distance of 10 kilometers northeastern to the town of Parikia. Even though the beach is an attraction for Greeks and foreigners, it has not lost anything from its natural beauty. You will be impressed by the rocks around of the beach which are carved by the wave and you will try to find out what the different shapes that the sea has given to them remind you. Its name is due to this special shape.

Kolybithres is a sandy beach with nice sand and crystal clear shallow sea which makes it suitable for families with small children. It is well organized with sun beds, umbrellas, water ski and wakeboard school. Several alternatives for accommodation are available in the area around and you will also have many choices for food and drink at the sea front taverns of the area. Several bars and cafes at the sea front offer refreshment, drinks and coffee.

From Naousa, you may also come to the beach by taxi, as well as by the excursion boats departing daily for the tour of the island and stop at Kolybithres.

Golden Beach

The Golden Beach is one of the most famous and cosmopolitan beaches in the island. It is 22km from Parikia and very close to the coastal settlement Drios. This nice beach with the golden sand is a 700m long beach on the south eastern part of the island of Paros. It takes its name from the fine sand, which has glass elements in it and provides a sparkling effect during sunshine.

Golden Beach has become a popular destination for wind-surfers and kite-surfers from around the world due to the windy conditions inside as well as outside the small bay. Among others you can find boats for rent, rescue boats and windsurfing lessons, both for beginners and advanced students. It is also ideal for water sports and yacht activities. Across the beach lies the small uninhabited island of Drionisi, which can be reached only by boat. You will sunbathe on one of the sun beds, or you will relax under the shade of an umbrella, enjoying the spectacle of the surfers.

The beach has a top level infrastructure basis as you will find restaurants, beach bars and of course modern hotels and lodgings.

Faragas

The sandy beach of Faragas is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers southern to the town of Parikia, close enough to Aliki. Faragas is a well protected from the wind beach with white sand and deep blue waters. Despite the fact that it is a very well-organised beach, it keeps its company-like style away from the movement and the noise of the settlements. The sea is crystal clear and the beach has nice rocks, secluded parts, fine sand and dunes beside the sea.

Visitors come from all over Paros to enjoy a swim, to relax having coffee or a drink under the umbrellas and the sea trees. There is a bar –tavern at the beach, where you may complete the pleasure of swimming and sunbathing, by tasting the dishes of the local kitchen. On the far left and right ends of the beach, there are rocks of curious formations and beyond them two more small beaches. It is ideal for people who enjoy snorkeling.

Aliki

Aliki is located 13 km from Parikia. It lies on the northern tip of the island of Paros. Sheltered from the winds, protected from the meltemia is a heaven for visitors whose majority is families with children who enjoy the calm sea and the clear waters. If you love diving, the depth of the sea will charm you. On the greatest part of this beach, sea trees are to be found which provide thick shade. It is a must to taste the fresh fish in one of the coastal taverns of the village.

To the left and towards the end of the sea-front road, lies the beach of Piso Aliki. There you will find a big sandy beach with blue waters, marram grass and a tavern. Piso Aliki looks to the open sea and has a marvelous view as you can see Ios, Sikinos, and Folegandros on the horizon. There is easy parking, public restrooms and changing rooms.
