Piso Livadi
Piso Livadi is a seaside settlement, 4km from Marpissa and is recommended for family vacations as it has very good tourism infrastructure with plenty of hotels, studios, apartments, holiday rooms for rent. Moreover, it has traditional Greek taverns, cafes and bars.
It is built around a small port with many fishboats. There is a quiet beach with the golden shore and the clear waters gather travelers seeking for peace and calm in a romantic environment. In the west of the settlement on a hill, is the church of Saint George dated from the 13th century. Other sights at Piso Livadi include the small church of Saint Nikolaos and the Monastery of Panaghia Xehoriani.
Boats leave Piso Livadi for the islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Ios, Santorini, Amorgos, Dilos and Antiparos.This side of the island also has a string of good beaches making Piso Livadi an ideal base for exploring the eastern beaches of Paros island. Nearby beaches include those at Logaras, Golden Beach, New Golden Beach and Pounda.
